Raised some concerns about this feature in carbon-dev@ sometime back. (subject - "The forgot password functionality is included into the products" )
These type of features should be available, but not by default. If someone needs it, then they should be able to install it. Also I don't think this is not a good alternative for chpasswd script. We should fix the script right.
