Why not 4.0.0-SNAPSHOT? Earlier, we had the stratos version specifically - for the services and configuration. Now nothing such exists, except for the product Manager. So 2.0.0-SNAPSHOT is a mere version of the manager product.
OTOH, csg, cep, agent, identity and governance components have the versions as 4.0.0-SNAPSHOT. Why the special treatment for stratos now? I am pretty sure, if we decide to go by 2.0.0-SNAPSHOT now, eventually, at sometime, we will have to change back to carbon components version for the consistency. WDYT? Regards, Pradeeban.
