If you are using Xalan-C (which I think you are, given the version number and your command line), we really don't have anyone supporting it. it's written in somewhat archaic C++, it's based on the earliest versions of Xalan before we re-architected to create Xalan-J 2, and we were having trouble finding people to maintain it even in 2010.
I know a proposal was made to move Xalan-C to the Apache Attic, making its unsupported status official. I'm not sure whether that has already happened You might want to consider switching to Xalan-J (java-based), currently at version 2.7.3. That may be enough to solve your problem all by itself. If not, please submit a bug report that includes a stylesheet and XML input document which demonstrate the problem, so we can provoke it locally for analysis. -- /_ Joe Kesselman (he/him/his) -/ _) My Alexa skill for New Music/New Sounds fans: / https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09WJ3H657/ Caveat: Opinionated old geezer with overcompensated writer's block. Which kills the process before generating HTML output. File size: [cid:image001.jpg@01DA21F4.F5B99CD0] Command : [cid:image003.jpg@01DA21F4.F5B99CD0] Error: [cid:image004.jpg@01DA21F4.F5B99CD0] But it if I run command `/usr/bin/Xalan –m file1 file2`, using `-m` option then it works fine. But we can’t omit the META tag because we can have umlaut char. Could you please help me to find the root cause and solution of this issue.
