Hi Joseph, You wrote, <quote> Question: has the 3.0 branch been moved to a Maven build yet? I can't speak for anyone else, but I would find it somewhat disconcerting if the two code streams were using different build engines.
This is presuming that we do indeed have consensus that we are moving to Maven. </quote> And my following thoughts, I'd personally like to put more effort in coming weeks & months to fix few more codebase bugs present in Xalan-J's XSL 3 branch, perhaps implement 1-2 more XSLT 3 instructions, and improve further Xalan-J's XSL 3 tests coverage. All of the previous activities I wish to do on Xalan-J's XSL 3 branch using existing Ant build to help us still focused on XSL 3 languages instead on migrating to a different build process. Support of more contributors to Xalan-J's XSL 3 codebase shall definitely be helpful, to be able to improve Xalan-J's compliance to XSL 3 specs further. Surely, we can try to migrate to Maven before releasing to users the 1st XSL 3 build from Xalan project. Regards, Mukul Mail sent from gmail for Android
