As announced in a previous message, I just finished a beta version of an XSLT filter coupled with a native UNO component allowing to export a writer document with all embedded document as an image (jpeg,png, gif), as does the native Save As ...HTML.

The HTML documentation was directly generated from an sxw document.
There is still a long way to go before having a really good and efficient XSLT transformation, but the component (C++ and Java) can be reused in another XSLT transformation (the one advertised for example on the xml.openoffice.org web site), without a lot of modifications.
It should be compatible with OO 2.0, but really tested with OO 1.1.2 and 1.1.4 under linux.
