I am very interested in this subject as a consumer and five-year user of Open Office/Star Office. I am a tech writer for Orion Health and would dearly love to be able to write my DocBook content in OO. Although 2-way would be ShangriLa, just writing in OO and then viewing the output via DocBook would be more than acceptable. I'm not a programmer so I can't contribute to the XML filters I may be able to scrounge a bit of programming time from the developers sitting all around me. I would like to get my hands on any improved form of export filter because to sofftodocbook filter is just rubbish. It doesn't write comprehensible XML.
