Please excuse my belated response, I have been a little too much focused
on some other project.
I guess the easiest way to share your XHTML filter enhancement is to
write a patch (to me).
Perhaps you would like take a look at the ODF2XHTML version and base
your patch on this sources.
I am looking forward to see your changes (unfortunately your given link
do not longer work)..
