I've been busy managing namespace and PURL updates to bring the Personally Identifiable Information (PII) into sync with the Dublin Core Abstract Model. ODF specifies some old-style basic elements of Dublin Core and I imagine OASIS is working on that. I had no problem modifying your old transform. I don't expect that there will be any problems with the new one, the more flexible feature set seems all to the good. OO caches the old one and even minor modifications were difficult. The old one didn't pick up dc:language either.
Just to be clear, the reason I used Dublin Core in XHTML is so that I can GRDDL transform (XSLT) that to an RDF Description Set - so the W3C will draw pretty pictures of your document for you. This transform recognizes meta data in the Header, but also links in the Body - optional tagged/redacted PII and other "visible" meta data according to my protocol. So, when I get the new ODF2XHTML source I'll modify it and send it to you along with the GRDDL in case somebody wants to play with RDF made from XHTML. I'll make that donation formal if you wish, but I'm not quite ready to let go of RUST, the PII namespace, redaction by token substitution or some of the other IP expressed on RUSTPrivacy.org because there is some very substantial commercial potential there. At least I hope so. --Gannon --- Svante Schubert <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi Gannon, > > Please excuse my belated response, I have been a little too much > focused > on some other project. > > I guess the easiest way to share your XHTML filter enhancement is to > write a patch (to me). > > Perhaps you would like take a look at the ODF2XHTML version and base > your patch on this sources. > > I am looking forward to see your changes (unfortunately your given > link > do not longer work).. > > Have a nice week-end, > Svante > > I would suggest that > > Gannon Dick wrote: > > Of course I'll probably want to use the new (yesterday) Dublin Core > > Schema. > > > > > > --- Gannon Dick <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > >> As part of another project I modified the filter to rewrite meta > data > >> as Dublin Core. > >> > >> A sample (source/mayfl11.odt + source/Mayflower2.3.1.xhtml) is at > >> www.RUSTPrivacy.org in SimpleMayflower.zip. > >> > >> http://www.RUSTPrivacy.org/SimpleMayflower.zip > >> > >> Of course readers are encouraged to visit RUSTPrivacy.org to see > what > >> it's about ... there is also a GRDDL XSLT transform (to RDF) for > >> Dublin > >> Core Encoded XHTML that will be ready for primetime pretty soon. > >> > >> How do I go about sharing the XHTML filter enhancement? > >> > >> Gannon J.
