Hey Tim,

This is not about the metrics and how to make the numbers look better but
rather how to better engage with the community and improve the transparency
of communications.

For instance, I am subscribed to the dev list in an attempt to follow what
is happening with the project. However, at the moment I have no visibility
on what's going on. I don't know what are the major milestones of the
project; I don't know anything about the roadmap; I am not aware if help is
needed; I am not aware of the hot topics that are being worked on; I don't
see how people coordinate with each other.

Maybe all the above can be found in GitHub and if that's the case we're
good and there's nothing to worry about especially if overall activity is
low anyways.

My main point is to keep communications as open as possible to allow for
anyone to participate and contribute.
