Thanks for the feedback Sunil, I will adjust the scripts we have to create the tar etc and remove the RC tag.
To allow fixing of the issues that were brought up by Weiwei I will need to branch the repo. A new branch-0.9 will be added to the release repo as the scripts and content used for v0.9.0 will be different from any upcoming releases. The work for all this is as good as done and I will re-start the vote with RC2 later today.
