Does every Linux box needs MTA? Government sector is one of the customers that
ask for removal of MTA dependencies. People don't bind Java program to lower
port and use firewall/reverse proxy to shield their system as solutions. I
agree there are ways to work around problems. However, one less problem for
novice is better than leaving problems behind for future generations. This is
the reason that I am cool with removing the current rpm/deb packaging for ant
build. However, if someone put patches forward for making rpm package with
better tooling. I hope we don't stumble on them like this incidence.
