Thanks for taking a look at the patches. I think the first to attempt such. I
can see about updating/rebasing. I suspect many things have changed since. May
have to redo this effort entirely. I am not clear on Netty usage, nor Netty
itself really. Thus I could only get so far.
I think you may have run into some stuff where I left off. You may try with an
older version and go forward from there. The patches did apply cleanly at some
point, like 2 years ago.... If others are interested in helping update Netty. I
can see about making the changes again. But like you said, some things changed
such that people need to make coding decisions on how to implement in Zookeeper.
