-adding a new page with template "Simple"
-using the left_menu object, creating several sub-pages on this page
-adding some content on these sub-pages
-deleting the pages by deleting the link in the left-menu
The problem is, for one of this page, the one with the file container, I can't delete it. The delete button does not appear.
When I click on the update icon of my link, in the popup, the edit mode works but rights, logs or categories give me an error but when I try to see the source there is nothing about the error.
The deleted page don't appear in the search result. But the one on which i put a file container (which is deleted) appears. It seems like this page is a ghost page because I can access it only from my erroneous search result (or by typing its url in the browser).

Any error in the console when you access these pages? Have you performed any rollback (versioning) or other complex operations (e.g. move) on these pages before? Is this only valid for certain pages (if you try on other pages)?
By default this operation seems to work fine (cf. you can test it on the online demo which is also running the 4.0.4), so we need to find which action caused your problem in order to help you and, if neccessary, report a new bug entry.

In fact, I wonder if my pages are really deleted. They don't appear in the page tree neither in the site map, but in my search when I click on the link I get a page and not an error.
But I found no way to delete the page! And also, the document that are indexed and which my search brings me back, don't appear on the page. They are not in the file container anymore but they appear in my search. I don't understand why.

Hello,
Which version of Jahia are you using? Are the deleted pages validated? Have you tried to reindex the site?
Just tested on the online demo and it works fine...

I had created several Jahia pages and add some content on them, but I had to delete some of them. These pages no longer appear in the page tree neither on the sitemap but when I perform a search using the search engine, I get these pages in my result, and also some file that I added in a file container on one of these pages. I dont' want this content to appear in my search. How can I do?
Thanks! Regards,
