Hi,

You can't access to the Jahia API from another webapp context. This is a classloader issue. Please check the webapp doc:
http://www.jahia.org/jahia/webdav/site/jahia_org/shared/documentation/WebAppGuideDRAFT1.pdf page 23 of the pdf or the Tomcat doc about classloading and seggregation of contexts.

So if you want to develop a webapp which accesses all the Jahia API, you need to deploy it within the Jahia context itself.

Cheers
Stphane

I'm using Jahia about a few mounths and I'm trying to use Jahia API in a webapp (portlet) without success.
How can I import Jahia API? (Jahia was installed from source.)

Thanks,

Is it possible to configure jahia to recognize the user and not require him/her to log in once again into Jahia if the user has logged in to the network domain (eg. windows domain, Novell network or some other...)

If Jahia is used within an intranet this behaviour is expected but I am not shure if this is possible.
