Named pages not working on Mac IE 5.2

In some cases pages with named aliases are not loading in IE 5.2 on the Mac.

e.g. http://www.somesite.com/jahia/home/testpage

Loads fine in any other browser, however it hangs in Mac IE 5.2

Has anyone experienced this problem before?
