Hi Stephane,

Sorry, seems I missed your reply...  The problem seems to have automagically 
solved itself, so I've not looked into it any further.  I think the error was a 
403.  The image was located in a file field.  I will post again if I notice it 
happening again (another dev mentioned he was have the problem intermittently 
in a different Jahia instance but may have been caused by use of a cache 
filter).

Strange problem. Never encountered such an issue before...

What is the broken link msg (403, 404, other?). 
Any error in the console for this custom file (or any error regarding some 
"org.apache.slide.*" in the logs)? Where does your image is located (in a file 
field or within a rich text which points to this image)?
