Hi, A portlet is not visible if the current user has no read rigth or portlet is not well deployed. With Root user, you may view all porlets in admin panel.
Did you you try to install Jpetstore portlet at http://portals.apache.org/bridges/download.html ? It's a portlet using struts bridge. I 've deployed without problem. Regards KT.
