I assume you're talking about the SkypeKit beta they just announced (as opposed to the Skype API, which has been around for longer (I think))? Do you have a link to the license agreement? I looked for it briefly, but couldn't find one. All I could find was this (which makes me suspect the license may not be GPL-compatible): "For example, our license terms prohibit using SkypeKit for gambling or adult-themed applications."
