Adium truncates long names now, so the smaller in the space would only make an uncommon problem somewhat more common (though perhaps still uncommon). Considering that selecting the account displays the name in a larger space and that you have to select an account to do anything, this doesn't seem like a problem to me. If you have 5 similarly long-named accounts, you need to get more creative or more succinct in your account naming. And why would you need to edit them often enough for this to be a problem? Anything that a normal user needs to edit with any regularity should probably be exposed somewhere else. -- Matthew
