This is very odd. I am able to send to Voicestream from the Cingular GSM
network and I was able to send an SMS from Cingular to a UK phone number. I
am amazed that Voicestream do not have international roaming... they could
have of course turned it off for the time being. I would call their tech
support and ask them.. yes a pain.. biut they put you on a different SMSC
or something. Cingular used to have a separate SMSC if you wanted access to
email etc..
