Hi List 1.I don't have access to an operator's SMSC. 2. let's say i don't have a GSM phone either 3. i choose to build the http smsc if someone wants to send a SMS to my SMSC, so that the server will automatically recognise him and send him a response (through the same SMSC i guess), to which number would he send it???
4. lets say i have a GSM phone (that solves the 'send to <this number>' problem from question 3, i think), do i need to connect it to my PC - gateway, and if so, do i need a data cable? can anyone give me detailed instructions? this is what the user guide tells me to write: group = smsc smsc = http system-type = kannel username = nork password = z0rK port = 13015 send-url = "http://localhost:20022"; i cannot understand the send-url parameter...what does this do? Next, is this the correct way to write my configuration file? group = core smsbox-port = ... ....... group = smsbox bearerbox-host = .. ........ group = smsc ........... group = sms-service ............ thx Maria
