I underline that in > the first case we don't receive the ring tone, while in the second we do. Nope, the 0000 is the PID at 0 (UCP uses PID at decimal, not hexadecimal), and 0 is the default, therefor there's no need to set it. DCS is set at the end of the string, inside XSER field: [0201]04 and [0201]F5 I've already replyed to this one, that if your mobile doesn't like the 04 kind of DCS, just add &alt-dcs=1 to your get (as you seems to be doing, if the second string have F5) This have nothing to do with PID! > About PID=39. Affectively it seems not to be a kannel problem. But it is a > fact that without modifing smsc_emi2.c we can't send any ring tone, and that > in the UCP dump there is no trace of PID and DCS. It has nothing to do with the patch ! are you using &alt-dcs or not ?????? pid doesn't change dcs value nor the reverse. Are you sure the two http get are exactly equal ? > Thank You for your attention > > Francesco Emmi >
