why not?! Afraid that Kannel would be a serious concurency of Nokia's MMSC?! :)
We definetly want to have Kannel at least to be able to run as MMSC proxy, hence a WAP gateway with SAR and large object support. For the two issues: a) SAR support is in development and will be added in the next future. b) ok, you mean MSISDN provisioning, right?! Doesn't the phone include the source address anyway in the MMS headers when it sends a MMS message to the MMS server?! If not, that's bad. We need then to do something non specification conform and do something like our RADIUS MSISDN proxying. Thanks a lot for your offering concerning testing via Nokia's MMSC. We'd definetly want to do this. Have you checked if you can send and receive MMS objects via Kannel (used as WAP gateway transport) with the Nokia 7650?! AFAIK, the device handles objects un-SARed up to a size of about 260 kb.
