What is the optimal setting in terms of CNMI for a Nokai 6210 phone for
Kannel?

The strangest thing is that if I look in the phone memory, there are no
messages found. So they are routed to Kannel as expected. But still the
phone shows a dialog with "no new space for new messages" where I have
to select Ok to get rid of it. But the SMS-c is not delivering messages
anymore from that time on. Delivery reports are set to no. What is the
correct setting for CNMI? I use CNMI=2,2,0,0,0 and I have tried
CNMI=1,2,0,0,0.

It looks like the phone thinks it holds the messages, but they are not.

I am really puzzled.

The problem is I have Orange as a customer but they only are supporting
the GSM 1800 frequency and the Wavecoms I normally use WMD02 only
support 900. (AT+CGMM response is 900P)

Hope someone knows a solutions to this.

Kind regards,

Edwin Poot

Are messages being stored in the SIM memory at all ? how about delivery
reports ? if not - what fills up the memory of the phone ?
