Navjyot Singh, Was not sure where to post and hence I posted to [EMAIL PROTECTED] I have posted it to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
In the meantime, answers to your queries: 1) Yes. it was compiled with mysql. How do I find out if Kannel is reading the Submit_sm response and Deliver_sm DLR? With dlr_mask and dlr_url parameter also I dont find the DLR being received by Kannel. My requirement is to use an SMPP SMSC through Kannel to push SMS messages, receive and store submit_sm and dlry receipt response. Would appreciate help. 2) Would be glad if you could let me know which .c file should I add the patch regards ravi -----Original Message----- From: Navjot Singh [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, July 04, 2005 3:46 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [email protected] Subject: Re: Hi first of all, i dont think this question made sense for devel list. You should have posted this to users list. Anyway, no bashing and moving to answer your Qs. > Q1) I want Kannel to receive the delivery receipt and write it into a MySQL > table. You must need to send dlr-url and dlr_mask paramter along with your sendsms request to receive the DLRs. 2. Dont expect the DLRs to be remain persistent in DB. They will be removed as soon as kannel calls your dlr-url. > Q2) I am also configuring a HTTP gateway to which SMS has to be sent. The > parameters of the http gateway are different from that expected by the > sendsms.php. How do I synchronize both? kannel keeps a mapping of sendsms requests to some of other HTTP based SMSCs. wapme is one of them. please find in kannel docs if your SMSC in one of them listed there. If not, just add patch the code for your HTTP smsc. you may also submit the patch back to kannel cvs. no dount, biggies on the devl list will approve that before you commit ;-) HTH Navjot Singh
