Dear Josh, It great when someone gives a patch back to the kannel community as that is the only way Kannel can progress over just bug fixing. Anyone who does this should be congratulated.
If you do a diff -u and send it to the list the Kannel Devel group can make comments and hopefully include it in the CVS. It would also be great if you can add the extra features of your code to the user guide so others can easily use your code, without having to dig through the source. I have not had the opportunity to add a patch, but if you want to find out more about adding patches to CVS, contact one of the main CVS maintainers such as Stipe Tolj <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
