Sorry about the very long delay in responding - I have been out of pocket. I would like to test out first whether my system is blocking out certain addresses.
I am looking down in /etc/xinetd.d and found the file "telnet". which only allows in certain addresses. I have no telnetd daemon running so if WAP needs this, it would be problem #1. (I'm guessing WAP doesn't need this daemon??) This system is hightly secured, so it could be that I don't have the daemon(s) running that WAP needs.
In sum, I could use help on these specifics: For RH Enterprise, which daemon(s) need to be running for WAP and which file(s) are the ones to add IP's to if required (are the files in /etc/xinet.d/)? Thanks.
