Hi!
I want to know if the test B boards will be sent to developers for tests
or it will be tested only at OLPC labs.
I am trying to compile the linuxbios on GIT repository since last week
and nothing, I will send the errors later.
I have the Infiniteon board and the 20060918 compiled linuxbios, from
daviz repository updated with YUM, not compiled for 2.5 and everytime I
turn on my machine, it hangs on message BUS initialization. Then I
reboot with reset button and it starts normally after FSCK on filesystem.
I am using build 81.
I ll update to build 91 today.
Last Friday I went to Univille - Universidade da Região de Joinville
(Joinville University) at Santa Catarina, Brazil, they have ~11.000
students at that Campus, to show the board and the progress made by you
on linux to fit on the board. They have Computer Science and Information
System graduation course and I proposed to the Computer Departament
Chief to show the project to their students and start a projetct to
build Educational Software based on the OLPC plataform with help of
their teachers. They will evalutate this and agreed to know more about
OLPC Project and maybe start a project to help the commynity to build
Educational Softwares.
If there is anyone at the project here that is in Joinville, or at
Univille, talk to Rosalvo Medeiros or Rodrigo Dornel.
