The choice of port for the MPP server (953) was unfortunate. It is also used by BIND9's remote control interface (rndc).
Can we get this changed ASAP ? How about a less useful service, like gopher or timed ? Or a non-priviledged port ? And while we are at it, can we use a less common address for the ANYCAST ? Something like 172.31.252.252.
