I have a bunch of other Linux VMs (Debian, OpenSUSE, RHEL, etc.) that all run comfortably in 1 GB, so why not F28? The VM was extremely sluggish when I booted it up. Sure enough, it was swapping. I shut it down, gave it 2 GB again, and now it boots up quite snappily. It appears that, with a default GNOME install, just logging in one user eats more than 1 GB.
