In 99% cases pytest works as a drop-in replacement, so mostly there is very little reason to use nose. Actually, I was always baffled by its popularity, because pytest has been a noticeably better as far as I remember. > without replacement Maybe reword this part? "without replacement" a) sounds scary and b) also suggests that something is actually removed and c) pytest is a very good replacement.
