Hi all,

I packaged lv2-artyfx-plugins for Ubuntu recently. While it was
undergoing review by the archive admins (they review all of the
copyright headers in the source files for compliance in addition to
other items, they're basically the gatekeepers of the Ubuntu
repositories), it was pointed out to me that these plugins create a
binary that is combined from sources using both GPL-3+ and GPL-2 (not
GPL-2+ as would be indicated with the "or later version" clause).

Because of this, it turns out that this package, while the source
files can be redistributed, the binaries cannot because the source
files licensed as GPL-2 (again, not GPL-2+) are not compatible with
GPL-3 since it is a later version.

So with that, I intend to retire this package, and I believe it would
be in the best interest of the project if the package can be removed
from the repositories as the binaries are basically an illegal
redistribution in many countries.

Thanks,
Erich
