I'll take a look, but note that I've never managed to get postgis to build with or without LTO. It complains with an odd error:
make[1]: *** [Makefile:177: liblwgeom.la] Error 139 make[1]: Leaving directory '/builddir/build/BUILD/postgis-3.0.1/liblwgeom' make: *** [GNUmakefile:20: all] Error 1 There's nothing else useful in the logs that I see. But again, I'll take a look and see if I can figure out what's going on.
