The php-email-address-validation package [1] has been built using code fetched
from the now-defunct Google Code, which dated back to 2009. The package
received no updates since then. I plan to switch the package to build from a
forked version of the library [2], which is still maintained (last "proper"
release in 2017, last git activity in 2019). This would introduce some breaking
changes to the API.

I checked with "dnf repoquery --whatrequires php-email-address-validation" and
it seems that the only consumer of this package is dokuwiki [3] - which I
maintain, and for which the forked version would be preferred.

If anyone has any objections to this, please let me know. We could always leave
the old package as-is and introduce the forked version as a separate package.

Cheers,
A.FI.
