This aspect will be covered by the GCC change proposal when the time
comes (probably with GCC 14/Fedora 40, but it's hard to make predictions
so far in the future).

For each individual package, I expect the required changes mostly within
the scope of a typical binutils/GCC/glibc update that requires some
changes to source code.
