I didn't see such requests in Fedora, most people are just interested
in making their software compiling.
In CentOS there were 2-3 cases when people were interested in
replacing the functionality with the new one.

I'm ready to help if necessary, and Clemens made a great job
explaining people what's going on while I was on PTO
