Sorry about that. It looks like an update to a git snapshot of
rpmdevtools was pushed to dist-git but never built - except during the
mass rebuild.
And apparently the changes since the last release contain the
regression reported here.

I have now pushed a revert back to the previously "last known good"
version to rawhide. Hopefully that resolves this particular issue in
rawhide, but we'll need to track the regression in upstream too to
make sure it doesn't end up in the next release.
