Hello maintainers!

I am glad I can announce the release of Mock v6.4, the tool for building RPMs in
clean, consistent environment.

This release adds the experimental unbreq plugin and boosts systemd-nspawn
performance by disabling fsync.

Could you please elaborate what is the relation to `nosync` and the
`config_opts['nosync'] = True` option?
The relation is "these have same/similar effect".

Cool. Going to drop this settings 👏 Thanks for elaborating.

Vít

This new thing is a systemd-nspawn (only), a built-in feature, see this
report: https://github.com/rpm-software-management/mock/issues/1612

The nosync library is hard to link correctly these days, and is broken for
a few years: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2019329

To make it complete, there's one more RFE for libeatmydata (much closer to
nosync): https://github.com/rpm-software-management/mock/issues/875

Pavel

Thanks

Vít

Regarding configurations, we've added support for Kylin OS 11 and included a
local Koji buildroot repository for RHEL+EPEL configs (which can be enabled with
--enablerepo=local). Azure Linux 2.0 has also been marked as End of Life (EOL).
