Jakub did reach out to the Ada team, but apparently their group email

The mailing list? Try subscribing to the list. One can even subscribe
but turn off delivery, to be able to post but not receive anything
(supposedly; I haven't had a reason to try that myself).

Or was it one of the *-maintainers addresses? I was rejected when I
tried to send to such an address – but that was over a year ago, and
there have been changes to the email infrastructure since then.

[email protected] I believe.

Should some of us on the gcc team be made provenpackagers so
that we can do this without reaching out to other packagers?

That would make sense.

Note that you need to know or work out the dependency graph to build
the Ada packages in the right order.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons for us staying away from that :) but I suppose we could follow instructions if they're documented somewhere. It worked out well last year where we had ada packages rebuilt into the side tag, but we haven't had enough time to do anything this year given the new milestone deadline to push toolchains to rawhide a week before the mass rebuild. The new gcc has been in a side tag for the 2 weeks that pretty much everyone was offline, which isn't very useful.
