With Ben's fix merged the CPU usage is no longer the bottleneck. In fact, in F44 ptyxis appears to have had a workaround of its own, as I could swear the CPU usage was down even before rpkg-1.69. Unfortunately, the upload is still slow. For ~200 MiB mame tarball, which I have to upload every month, the speed never reaches 1 MiB/s. My connection is capable of almost twenty times that (150 Mbit/s). While I do understand that there is a lot of jumps between here and src.fedoraproject.org, below 1 Mbit/s is painfully slow. Is this normal Here is mtr output in case it sheds some light on the situation: $ mtr -ezb -o LSNBAWVJMXI src.fedoraproject.org My traceroute [v0.95] myhostname (aaaa:bbbb:cccc:dddd:eeee:ffff:aaaa:bbbb) ->Is it the same if you use ipv4 instead of ipv6? (ipv4 seems to prefer the other link from the ipv6 traffic)
Just FTR, I don't remember a would have seen reasonable upload speed for a while already. It is always slow AFAICT. But I have not bothered to report / investigate.
