As I stated in the PR, you can't just "upgrade"  a package because you want
to. All the dependencies need to be compatible as well.

In order to update in Rawhide, the following packages need to be built with
it:

$ fedrq wr -b rawhide -Xs -F source OpenColorIO-devel
OpenImageIO
OpenImageIO2.5
blender
krita
luxcorerender
olive
usd

This isn't a long dependency chain like imath which I'm working on right
now but it's still quite a bit of work.
