Hi, folks. You might notice a lot of openQA tests are failing and so a lot of updates are being gated right now. Sorry. I'm working on it.
There are at least three things I know of: 1. A plasma-workspace update broke things so the KDE launcher icon is no longer customized to be the Fedora icon on fresh installs. This causes install_default_update_live to fail. Unfortunately, the failure got waived, so it's now affecting every other update that hits the kde- live-iso tests. I think I know how to fix this and am testing it right now. 2. The pygobject3 build in the GNOME 50 megaupdate causes problems for tuned which makes tuned-ppd.service often fail on startup, which can cause failures in the base_services_start test. I have a mitigation for that in place but it's still an issue. There's an update that should fix this in-flight, but it's being affected by... 3. There are a lot of flakes on GNOME tests on Fedora 44 because the GNOME 50 megaupdate landed there while gating wasn't working, and there's clearly some kind of problem with it. aarch64 failures in 'workstation' tests desktop_graphics_validation , desktop_browser , desktop_terminal or desktop_printing are almost certainly caused by this. I'm going to look into it after 1) and 2) and any other stuff I find. Sorry for the inconvenience, folks, going to work through these as fast as possible. -- Adam Williamson (he/him/his) Fedora QA Fedora Chat: @adamwill:fedora.im | Mastodon: @[email protected] https://www.happyassassin.net -- _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected] Do not reply to spam, report it: https://forge.fedoraproject.org/infra/tickets/issues/new
