This is quite interesting. I've also had problems with OpenSSL on
the API side. When I read the documentation, and tried to open an
encrypted socket, I ran into an issue that I couldn't fix. I don't
remember what the exact issue was, since it was over a year ago,
but I suspect the documentation I was reading was outdated.
