To follow-up a joke from Miro on a previous attempt to retire the package:
The superposition has collapsed: the schrodinger package is now in a
definite dead state due to observation.

The package is now retired in fedora rawhide because the upstream
project has vanished (+10yo). ffmpeg has support for decoding dirac
video, so there is no reason to keep an unmaintained implementation.
Last (main) user was in vlc, but the schrodinger plugin code will be
totally removed in the next vlc-3.0.24 release.

Once the next vlc is published and propagated into maintained
branches, I will likely proceed with the epel retirement of the
package.

Thanks for the notice.
