No that is something that Adam is doing out of personal preferences. It is a consequence of a Red Hat policy change but it isn't the policy in itself. I've started my contribution to FOSS before joining RH so I've always sticked with my personal emails, I know of people who migrated from personal to RH emails, this is an example of the opposite. It's just that Adam was interacting with many many tickets and wanted to give people an heads-up if they were wondering what was happening. The issue you've mentioned will remain, even though in theory as part of the process when someone leaves, managers are supposed to work with the associate leaving and the team to avoid that situation.
