Below is the summary from yesterdays meeting, and links to logs and minutes.

= Key Discussion Points =

== Conflict of Interest Guidelines (Ticket #513) ==
https://forge.fedoraproject.org/council/tickets/issues/513

* The initial idea of a formal policy has been simplified to a "Decision
Support Process".
* The new process involves adding text to FESCo and Mindshare
documentation, allowing them to file a ticket to request support from the
Council for "decisions where additional input would be helpful".
* The Fedora Operations Architect (FOA) will be the primary contact to
triage and handle these requests to avoid potential conflicts of interest
with other roles.
* The group agreed to rename the initiative to "Decision Support Process"
to better reflect its purpose.

== Flock to Fedora 2027 CfP Themes (Ticket #578) ==

* Brainstorming for the Flock 2027 Call for Proposals (CfP) has begun.
* The process will be led by the Council, which will create a draft and
then collaboratively workshop it with FESCo, Mindshare, and the wider
community.
* An initial draft combining ideas from the 2025 and 2026 CfPs has been
created on the wiki as a starting point.
* The goal is to have a solid first draft ready for discussion by the next
meeting on October 21, 2026.

== Action Items & Agreements ==
=== Conflict of Interest / Decision Support Process ===

Agreed: The proposal to create a "Decision Support Process" with the FOA as
the primary contact was formally agreed upon. The next steps will be to
create the documentation and ticket templates.

Flock 2027 CfP
* All Council Members: Review the Flock 2027 CfP wiki page and add ideas
and feedback to ticket #578.
* @amoloney: Edit the wiki with updates and suggestions as they are
provided in the ticket.
* @t0xic0der: Engage the Mindshare Committee to gather their feedback on
the CfP themes.
