The soname was bumped from 5.3.0 to 5.6.2 but remains backwards compatible up to ddcutil 2.2.1
I've updated ddcutil from 2.2.1 to 3.0.2 the only packages depending on it are: - fastfetch (upstream dropped the dependency in a future release) - powerdevil I've tested both in a Rawhide VM and a local 44 system with a copr and both programs continued to work without recompiling.
