I work on building Fedora for the RISC-V architecture. We use separate
koji for that and separate builders (which are slow).
During Fedora 46 (current rawhide) cycle several packages were removed
from distributions. But their leafs are left in distribution.
For example kf5-kpimtextedit (and IIRC most/all kf5-* ones) is now
orphaned and was removed from the rawhide.
But blogilo (which builddepends on kf5-*-devel) is still in rawhide,
despite the fact that it cannot be built any more.
Same with kopete, kpeoplevcard and probably several other apps written
for KDE/Plasma 5.x which cannot be built any more.
I know that we have mass rebuild every cycle which is used to find out
such packages, but can we remove packages in a wiser way? With all their
leafs?
