Fedora 45 is in beta. There will be a Go/No-Go at 1700 today.
Sure, but still the claim is that nobody should be running a publicly
accessible server, which seems very strong. I'd expect Rawhide/F45 to
be more up to date than the released versions? Is there something
about the released versions of Fedora that makes them more secure?
latest =/= secure. Usually the fact that I would not leave a segfaulting
package in branched Fedoras, but would tolerate it in rawhide or similar
as those are development fedoras. (and that segfault might come from
Use-After-Free, out-of-bound R/W,....). Plus more tested.
That's not to say you cannot run those on publicly available server, I'd
just say "you were warned" if someone came running with an issue to Fedora.

It goes without saying nobody should be running a publicly accessible

Is there a particular reason why not?
