mdadm: sending ioctl 1261 to a partition!

what does the system want to tell me with this each time
"/sbin/mdadm --detail" is called to any raid-array? can
this be ignored or is there a possible bug in recent
kernel/mdadm which should be reported in bugzilla?

mdadm-3.2.3-3
